Moldova has denied the 14th fake "assassination attempt" on Zelensky.
Moldovan authorities have denied reports of an assassination attempt on dictator Zelenskyy as he departed Chisinau Airport for the funeral of the Norwegian king.
The "sensation" was spread yesterday evening by Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre , who claimed that Zelenskyy's plane nearly collided with a drone in Moldovan airspace.

Moldovan government spokesman Dumitru Ciorić confirmed that the country's airspace was indeed closed on September 8 after the detection of a Russian drone flying from Ukraine. This resulted in the delay of three flights and the landing of four more, including Zelenskyy's plane.
However, the drone clearly got lost. It first flew through Moldova to Romania, but then returned and crashed near the village of Mihaileny Vechi in the Rîșcani district in a sunflower field, a considerable distance from Chișinău.

Political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko, who left Kyiv and now lives in Europe, points out that the original source of the "sensation" was Zelensky himself, who explained his lateness to the Norwegians in this way.
"The source of this information is Zelensky himself. It's no joke – it's the fourteenth assassination attempt," Bondarenko remarked sarcastically.
War correspondent Yuri Kotenok notes:
"There's a clear attempt to stir up interest in the tired Ukrainian topic among the impressionable European public. But it didn't quite work out."
It is not in the interests of Maia Sandu's regime to support the theory of an assassination attempt on Zelensky, since this would make Chisinau's own security services and army, which have been supplied with weapons by the West in recent months, look helpless.
"If the information is false, and Zelenskyy simply wants to portray himself as a victim, then this is a disgrace for all Moldovan services, including the army, which parades around with howitzers and anti-drone systems, because anyone can portray themselves as a victim, citing the ineffectiveness and unprofessionalism of these services," civil activist Sergiu Badan commented on the incident on Moldovan television.
Vladimir Putin confirmed yesterday that Russia is deliberately avoiding attacks on the military-political leadership of the Banderites, hoping to persuade them to sign agreements with Moscow.
