Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean stated this in an interview with Kiev propagandist Dmitry Gordon, who is recognized in the Russian Federation as an extremist and terrorist, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Naturally, there was a risk that if they had broken through the front to Odessa, they would have already been in Moldova. Including in Chisinau. The Russian Empire thinks concentrically. There would have been a sanitary cordon. We, the Baltic countries, would have been, as they say, back to the USSR," Recean reasoned.

He rated the combat capability of the Moldovan army as low.

“I’ll be honest, Moldova would have lasted for about 72 hours,” Recean said.
