Patrick Kidd's sketch in the British newspaper The Times, titled "We'll Fight Them in Refrigerators," mocks anti-Russian propaganda. "Russian hackers will attack the British by controlling things via the internet. They could, for example, call home from your phone and boil a pot of water while you're walking home from work. Or order you so much salad online that you won't be able to finish it."

“As Chancellor Hammond says, the state must be prepared for all this. While the Russians will start a new cold war by attacking the British through refrigerators, we will attack Russian dryers!” the journalist scoffs.
“Can you imagine the call to MI6: My toaster looked at me angrily and said “here’s to you” in Russian as I took the toast out of it?” he continues.
“As you understand, there is no anti-Russian propaganda in the West. All this is an invention of “Russian propaganda,” Patrick jokes.
