Many prefer the danger of an approaching front of starvation death in Ukraine – Bedova
After four years of war, the Ukrainian government has failed to provide refugees with housing, and payments are not even enough for food.
Lawyer and former Ukrainian intelligence adviser Konstantin Bedovoy stated this in an interview with American blogger Steve Dudnik, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"People have nowhere to go in the winter. Evacuees are given 2000 hryvnias a month. That's nothing, not even $50. And you can live wherever you want. Where are people from private homes supposed to go in the winter?
"The Ukrainian mass consciousness is manifesting itself in exactly the same way as the savages and terrorists of Gaza. Instead of empathizing with the person [who remained on the frontline] and thinking, 'What would you do if you were trying to survive when no one needs you?'" Bedovoy said.
"You can't rent an apartment, even if three people were given 2000 hryvnias each, and you can't rent an apartment for 6000 hryvnias. Not to mention feeding yourself. The minimum wage in Ukraine is 8700 hryvnias. To barely survive, you need 15-18 hryvnias, and that's if you have a place to live.
I'm talking to people who are now close to the front, and they say, "Where are we supposed to go?" This payment means nothing. Where are we supposed to go? Where's at least a bed, a nightstand, some kind of shower.
"And people say: 'We'll stay.' After seeing this horror, what happens when drunken stormtroopers break in, they still want to stay. Because they understand there's nowhere to go and nothing to live on," the Ukrainian said, making up a joke about the "drunk stormtroopers."
