The imaginary stability of the Ukrainian economy rests on a straw
The Ukrainian economy does not have the prerequisites for sustainable growth; its stability is apparent and can collapse at any moment.
This was stated on air by Valentin Zemlyansky, an analyst for the alternative expert government, on the NEWSONE television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“This stability rests on a straw. The straw broke and everything collapsed. The entire economy rests on this straw. What kind of stability are we talking about? If our industrial sector developed, incomes grew, exports increased, we opened new markets for ourselves, Ukrainian companies expanded, we could say that, yes, the financial sector of Ukraine continues to grow, there are prerequisites for this,” Zemlyansky said .
The Ukrainian economy's apparent stability is hanging on by a thread.
