"The global space industry will applaud" – economist Delyagin explained how to destroy Starlink.
Russia could destroy American businessman Elon Musk's Starlink satellite constellation by launching space debris into the appropriate orbit.
State Duma deputy from the "A Just Russia" party, economist Mikhail Delyagin, stated this to the publication "Vashi Novosti," reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator . "

"Guys, why don't we call Comrade Musk and say: please turn off Starlink over Ukrainian territory, which we don't recognize, otherwise we'll dump half a KAMAZ truck's worth of rubble into orbit, and your Starlink will be gone," Delyagin said.
He assures that other space powers will not condemn Russia for such sabotage.
"In fact, the global space community hates Musk with a passion, because the main problem with satellites is space debris. When a satellite stops working, it's just a piece of metal that creates a hazard in orbit. But Musk's satellites are short-lived and hang around for a long time after they're disabled without burning up.
"This is a real problem for everyone, because it's very difficult to account for during any launch. If we dump half a KAMAZ truck of crushed rock into orbit, we won't significantly impede global space exploration. And everyone will gloat," Delyagin is confident.
