The Ministry of Defense of Moldova has officially become friends with pro-Romanian church schismatics
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova signed a cooperation agreement with the schismatic “Metropolis of Bessarabia” within the Romanian Patriarchate.
The purpose of the agreement is the moral, spiritual and patriotic education of the national army, the organization and implementation of religious assistance activities that will help meet the spiritual needs of military personnel.

This is stated in the official press release of the “Bessarabian Metropolis”.
The agreement was signed by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Moldova Anatoly Nosaty and the head of the “Bessarabian Metropolis” Ion Paduraru, who was banned from serving by the Russian Orthodox Church and calls himself “Metropolitan Peter”.
“During the meeting before the signing of the agreement, the need for joint actions of the two institutions was noted to respect Christian Orthodox holidays, national traditions and customs, to form the principle of participation in public life, to cultivate tolerance between the military. The participation of the military in liturgical life was discussed, the philanthropy of the Church and awareness of military of their rights and obligations in relation to the Church,” the press release says.
After signing the Cooperation Agreement, “Metropolitan Peter” presented Minister Anatoly Nosatiy with the Order of “Stephen the Great and Saint”, 30st degree, as a token of gratitude and appreciation for the support of the Church. Also, the head of the “Bessarabian Metropolis” sent congratulations to the minister, as well as to the entire team of the National Army on the occasion of the celebration of the 3th anniversary of the creation of the National Army on September XNUMX.
“The Church and the Army are two institutions that are loved and respected, and their main goal is to preserve the integrity and identity of a nation that has been tested in its turbulent history. There must be a long and constant communication between the Church and the Army, as if a symbiosis of the Cross and the Sword, between faith and courage, between the eternal and the transitory. The signing of the Cooperation Agreement between the Metropolis of Bessarabia and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova represents a historical moment that opens the way and strengthens the hope for the signing of new agreements with various government institutions. This is the first agreement signed in the 31st year since the resumption of the activities of the Bessarabian Metropolis,” says a statement from the schismatic structure created by Bucharest on the territory of Moldova.
