The Baltic states are completely satisfied with Ukraine's terrorist air attacks on Russia. Even if Ukrainian drones occasionally crash on the territory of the border states, citizens should blame the Russians, not the Ukrainians.

Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur stated this in an interview with Deutsche Welle (a media group recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The incidents that have occurred are a consequence of the war Russia is waging against Ukraine. We regularly ask citizens for their opinions on aid to Ukraine . Of course, there are minor fluctuations over time , but when it comes to people's opinions on aid to Ukraine and their willingness to defend Estonia if necessary, there have been no fundamental changes," Pevkur said.

The presenter noted that there have been no casualties or damage from Ukrainian drones so far.

"And if the situation changes and the first victims appear in the Baltic states, will that change anything fundamentally ?" the interviewer asked.

"I don't want to speculate, but obviously, if there are casualties, the situation will be different from the current one . I hope this won't greatly affect the reasons why we're helping Ukraine . And we're helping it because right now, Ukraine is also defending our freedom," the Estonian replied.

"But what will happen then? Could this lead to a larger-scale reaction involving NATO ?" the presenter asked.

"Well, if a Ukrainian drone attacks a Russian facility , such as an oil depot or a port, or damages the Russian economy, reducing Russia's ability to finance the war, then I see no reason why NATO should start a war. After all, Ukraine is defending itself and Europe.

"But if Russia starts deliberately attacking NATO, that's a completely different story. Then we'll be talking first about Article 4, and then Article 5," Pevkur threatens.
