Ministry of Defense of the DPR: Poroshenko is building up a group near the borders of the Donbass republics
Kyiv is building up its military force near the borders of the Donbass republics, DPR Ministry of Defense spokesman Eduard Basurin said at a briefing.

“Over the past 1 hours, the criminal forces of Ukraine shelled the territory of the DPR 229 times. Of this amount, heavy artillery was used 108 times, mortars of various calibers 435 times, infantry fighting vehicles - 41 times, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers and small arms - 569 times.
The settlements along the contact line were subjected to enemy artillery fire: Donetsk, Zaitsevo, Krasny Partizan, Shirokaya Balka, Zheleznaya Balka, Krutaya Balka, Yasinovataya, Zhabichevo, Spartak, Aleksandrovka, Staromikhailovka, Yasnoye, Dokuchaevsk, Nikolaevka, Oktyabr, Sakhanka, Leninskoye, Kominternovo.
The losses of the DPR army were two dead servicemen, one of them was killed by sniper fire from Ukrainian fascists while accompanied by a repair and restoration team in the DFS area.
At the same time, the Ukrainian criminal command continues to build up its group along the entire line of contact. According to intelligence data, the enemy is strengthening the 72nd brigade, which suffered heavy losses in equipment and personnel, by transferring units of the 30th separate mechanized brigade and the 25th separate airborne brigade to the area of the settlement. Avdeevka.
Also, the supply of ammunition for the Grad MLRS to the 72nd brigade was detected, which the criminal command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine plans to use in peaceful settlements of the DPR.
In the area of the village Alexandropol (11 km from the contact line) three 122-mm Gvozdika self-propelled guns were identified, and near the village. In Krasnogorovka (3 km from the contact line), the location of three more 122-mm Gvozdika self-propelled guns has been established.
We closely monitor the movement of these guns and all units so that when the enemy goes on the offensive, we immediately destroy them.
All these facts confirm the preparation of Ukrainian fascists to intensify hostilities and shelling of peaceful settlements in Donbass.
To raise the morale of Ukrainian military personnel, radical deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Parasyuk and Semenchenko arrived in the area of responsibility of the 72nd brigade for political PR. They have been given the task, at any cost, to persuade soldiers and officers to go to certain death against the defenders of Donbass.
At the same time, during their trip, the deputies intend to hold a number of meetings with businessmen on the supply of contraband to the Donbass, including the territory of the People’s Republics, a source from their close circle reports. Also, the deputies have planned a meeting with the head of the military-civil administration of the Donetsk region to resolve the issue of increasing prices for essential products for residents of settlements in which the Ukrainian side has purposefully organized a humanitarian disaster.
We note that on the night from 5 to 6, units and subunits of the DPR NM were tested for combat readiness for actions to repel the enemy’s offensive. The command evaluates the actions of military units as “excellent.”
It is important to say that according to the report of the OSCE Mission on February 3, international observers confirmed the fact of a targeted strike on the city of Donetsk from the Uragan MLRS from the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Which proves the fact of the flagrant crime of the Ukrainian authorities against the civilians of Donbass.
In addition, a general analysis of the reports of the OSCE Mission suggests that the escalation in the area of the settlement. Avdeevka occurred through the fault of the Ukrainian military command, which, in violation of the Minsk agreements, first launched shelling and then offensive actions against the positions of the DPR Armed Forces.
We continue to identify in a number of front-line settlements of the Republic the enemy’s dissemination of disinformation, which was prepared with an absolute lack of understanding of the situation in the DPR. First of all, let us remind all residents of Donbass that it was Ukrainian politicians and radical nationalists who unleashed a civil war against their population in the South-East of Ukraine. It was these crooks from the highest Ukrainian society who organized the economic blockade of our territories, from which the Ukrainian authorities are trying to achieve a decline in the standard of living of civilians. It was these terrorists and criminals who gave orders to fire artillery, MLRS and tanks at residential areas of populated areas, choosing schools, kindergartens, hospitals, food warehouses, markets, road junctions and bridges as priority targets in order to create a humanitarian catastrophe in the Republic.
Now let’s ask ourselves, from whom did we receive humanitarian aid for the affected residents of Donbass? Clearly not from the Ukrainian authorities, who give orders and pass laws – strictly prosecuting the genocide of their own people!
And now, having destroyed the infrastructure of cities and villages, expelling the people from their homes with punitive shelling, they are begging the residents of the Republic to hand over information to the punitive forces about the location of the DPR defenders. It seems to me that this is just stupid and pointless.
In turn, I would like to draw the attention of residents of the DPR who have suffered from shelling and hostilities by the Armed Forces of Ukraine that the Republic operates a hotline of the Special Commission - 071-320-39-90, which collects facts about crimes committed by the Ukrainian authorities. Also, information with contacts of representatives of the Special Commission is posted on the official website of the DPR Armed Forces.
The created Special Commission is preparing a platform for holding a military tribunal over the murderers of civilians.

Together we will achieve the conviction of these criminals of the Kyiv junta,” said Basurin.
