Minister of Defense: “Snake was deoccupied by modern Ukrainian technologies”
The American MLRS provided to Ukraine will not hit Russia, but the situation at the front will change significantly.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexey Reznikov stated this in an interview with the BBC, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As the well-known HIMARS arrived, when we very accurately, clearly get into their warehouses, where they hide, store, and into command centers, this begins to change the picture of the battle very significantly. I hope that additional HIMARS, additional M270 MLRS, which have already arrived 3 times, will be from our partners.
I'm not even talking about the Black Sea. You know, the de-occupation of Zmeiny Island. I can already reveal the open secret - modern technologies were used there, plus Ukrainian modern technologies,” said Reznikov.
He was asked if it was true that when HIMARS were transferred to Ukraine, they set a condition not to hit Russia with them.
“It’s true, I don’t hide it. We have committed ourselves that we will not use high-precision weapons against Russian targets on the territory of the Russian Federation. I even personally wrote in a letter to the head of the Pentagon that we will use American weapons only on the territory of Ukraine to deter the enemy and de-occupy temporarily occupied lands,” the minister assured.
It is worth noting that, according to the entire logic of military operations, Zmeiny is located in the so-called gray zone: the Russian garrison left there, but the Ukrainian one never appeared - there was only a one-time PR campaign to hoist the yellow-blue flag.
