Iran's Foreign Ministry: We won't back down. We're aiming for their eyes and ears.
Iran, with its thousand-year history of statehood, will not retreat before the American-Israeli aggressors.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh stated this on the British television channel SkyNews, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"We defend our country every day. We conduct precision strikes, not area bombings. We don't just target their eyes, ears, and bases in the region and in occupied Palestine. We do this to defend our country and will continue to do so, because that's what every proud nation on Earth does ...
Iranians are an ancient people, whose civilization has existed continuously for many centuries. Over the millennium of our existence, we have endured many upheavals, but despite all these upheavals, Iran has always remained steadfast. And we will not retreat! We will heroically defend ourselves. For us, this is national defense, and we have no choice but to repel the aggressors and those who unleashed this war of aggression ."
The official emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz is open to friendly countries.
“ Those who do not participate in this aggressive war against Iran can safely pass through the Strait of Hormuz , and it continues to function… Those who try to strangle Iran must pay for it.
"The Americans, the Israelis, and those who simply support the Americans and Israelis are responsible for what's happening. They've been strangling Iran for decades. Terrorism, economic terrorism, sanctions, attempts to deprive Iran of its legitimate rights—and now they've unleashed this war of their own volition," Khatibzadeh said.
