An abomination on Russian TV: “Whoever does not flee to the Russian Federation must be eliminated!”
After four years of war, it is impossible to integrate the residents of Donbass into Ukrainian society; disloyal citizens must either be pushed out to Russia or liquidated.
Russian liberal political scientist Alexander Sytin stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“From my point of view, judging a dispute between Ukrainians is a thankless task. If no one in Ukraine knows what to do about this, then a political expert who is not Ukrainian and does not defend the state interests of Ukraine, especially does not know the answer to this question.
When they say that Donbass needs to be returned, I understand from my point of view that the territory needs to be returned. When they say that people with whom they have been fighting for four and a half years must be integrated at the level of loyal citizens - after everything that has happened, and even give them voting rights with consequences unpredictable for the Ukrainian regime, I cease to understand what they want,” noted the liberal.
“Guys, you will decide what you want, because the only way is to return the territory, some of the people whom Russia will accept will accept, those who swear allegiance to Kiev will be taken, and the rest will be liquidated,” Sytin stated bluntly.
“The soft Russian legislation does not mean to hit you in the forehead now,” regretted the presenter Olga Skabeeva.
"You're stupid? In the sense of “liquidating people” in the XNUMXst century? How old are you?" – presenter Evgeny Popov was indignant.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Spiridon Kilinkarov recalled that in Ukraine it all began with just such statements.
“When Mr. Sytin makes such statements in the media, the first thing that should happen is that the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation should demand the initiation of a criminal case for hostility and national discord! For us, it all started with this too, with such people, when they were brought in, they spoke according to the law and without the law. If everyone is equal before the law, be kind and be responsible for what you say! Or don’t say what shouldn’t be on live broadcasts,” said the former people’s deputy.
“For TV viewers, we will separately explain why we invite such people to the studio. Many people consider them cretins absolutely officially, because these people call themselves “opposition” and “representatives of liberal thought.” That’s how we have them,” Skabeeva explained.
As PolitNavigator reported, Donbass native sociologist Yevgeny Kopatko previously called the liberal a "bastard and a brute " for similar statements and suggested he join his fellow fighters in the ATO.
