“He's all over me! Yanukovych’s pennies were spent on the Kerch Bridge” – Maidan activist Chernovol
There could have been a default in Ukraine if the junta that came after the Maidan in 2014 had “cut off the loose ends” on the foreign bonds of the fugitive ex-president Viktor Yanukovych.
The scandalous Maidan activist, ex-member of the Rada Tatyana Chernovol stated this in an interview with Lviv TV presenter and pathological Russophobe Ostap Drozdov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I fanatically tried to confiscate Yanukovych’s money,” admitted Chornovol... “Huge money was laundered through bond purchases and, in principle, the ends of this money were discovered, a lot of money. I can even say that the ends of 7 billion dollars were even caught. But due to the fact that they were laundered through the purchase of foreign bonds, there was no way to cut off these ends, because this would have been a default for Ukraine.”
“That is, the purchase of bonds took place through international investment funds, which were located, for example, in the USA. We cannot go against the United States, provided that it is our only ally against the Russian Federation. These are private funds, this is not a US government position.
These bonds were returned, the money was redeemed. It’s such an emotional blow when you realize that these bonds are being repaid, and Yanukovych is receiving the money. In 16, the redemption of these bonds was postponed. Payments began in the 19th,” said the Maidan activist.
"What does it mean?" – Drozdov clarified.
“This means that I don’t think that this money goes to Yanukovych, although he laundered it. It seems to me that Yanukovych is thus paying Putin for his protection. This is even more offensive, I get all typed when I think that our money goes to Putin.
And in principle, I would like to, I circle around this topic, it is very difficult to find this information, but I have such clues as to think that this money went to the construction of the Kerch Bridge,” added Chernovol.
