“There is no head of the police department, there is no head of the SBU, there is no governor,” the mayor complained, as quoted by the publication “0642”.
The mayor reads that he is the only government official left. Kravchenko added that he is trying to keep the situation in the city under control. Additional powers would help him with this. He would like the head of the city police department to be confirmed by a vote of the City Council.
Let us remind you that Kravchenko did not take part in the work of the “People’s Council”, which was held under the flag of the “Lugansk Republic”.
As Navigator reported, previously acting Ukrainian President Alexander Turchynov admitted that the central authorities do not control the situation in Donbass.
The mayor of Luhansk stated that there is essentially no authority in the city.
