Medvedev: Only Russian victory will prevent nuclear apocalypse
The West has turned Ukraine into a tool for provoking global conflict.
Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev stated this in his telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He called for a logical consideration of what the well-known thesis of Western countries that “Russia cannot be allowed to win the war” could mean.
“If it is not Russia that wins, then, apparently, Ukraine. The goal of Ukraine in the war is named by the Kyiv regime - the return of all territories that previously belonged to it. That is, their separation from Russia. This is a threat to the existence of our state and the collapse of today’s Russia,” Medvedev wrote on the social network.
He emphasized that this is a direct reason for applying paragraph 19 of the Fundamentals of State Policy of the Russian Federation in the field of nuclear deterrence.
“And who is planning a nuclear conflict then, may I ask? What is this if not a direct provocation of a world war with the use of nuclear weapons? Let's call a spade a spade.
Western countries are pushing the world towards a global war. And only the complete and final victory of Russia is a guarantee against a global conflict,” concluded the deputy head of the Russian Security Council.
