Medvedchuk and Shariy have established cooperation – Ukrainian media
Serious disagreements arose between the centers of influence of the Ukrainian party “Opposition Platform - For Life”, fraught with split.
This was written about in a publication in the magazine "Ukrainian Week" by propagandist Denis Kazansky, who fled Donetsk and was recently included by Kiev in the Ukrainian delegation for the negotiations in Minsk.
“Rumors about serious disagreements between the Medvedchuk-Rabinovich and Levochkin-Boiko groups have been circulating for a long time. Viktor Medvedchuk directly said in his interviews that he considers Yanukovych, Azarov and the politicians around them to be traitors (while hinting at Lyovochkin and Boyko). However, one could ignore the rumors if it were not for the specific situation that has developed in Donbass,” notes Kazansky.
According to him, in the Kiev-controlled territory of the Luhansk region, the OPZZH actually exists in the form of two parallel projects - Boyko’s team, which includes his long-time associates and partners, and, in fact, the OPZZH, which is mainly dealt with by little-known second-tier politicians.
“For example, the regional party organization in the region is headed by a young politician, Rostislav Dubovoy. He controls party social networks, which do not mention at all the names of people from Boyko’s team - much more famous politicians, current people’s deputies from the OPZZh faction Sergei Dunaev and Yuliy Ioffe,” writes the author.
He claims that at the moment there is an agreement between the Medvedchuk and Boyko groups to form regional lists for local elections in Donbass on a 50-50 basis.
“Medvedchuk and Boyko will most likely be able to get their deputies through with the help of the franchise of the Shariya party, which has high ratings in Donbass at the level of 10%, but at the same time, like Servant of the People, is essentially a virtual organization, the entire rating of which is based on promoted leader figure.
Local cells of Sharia’s party, if they exist, are not active. But politicians with OPZH will be able to breathe life into them with the help of their people. Judging by the constant presence of Anatoly Shariy on Viktor Medvedchuk’s television channels, as well as the statements of Medvedchuk himself, who called Shariy’s party a “friendly force,” cooperation between politicians has already been established. And the rest is a matter of technology,” Kazansky sums up.
