Mariupol: drunken National Guard soldiers ran away from patrol police in a car, but could not tear themselves away
During a long night chase in Mariupol, patrol officers caught up with a car of National Guardsmen who were intoxicated.

This was reported by the press secretary of the Mariupol patrol police, Elena Gallalu.
“During a patrol on August 26, at about 21 p.m., inspectors discovered traffic violations: the rear side lights of the VAZ 2108 car were not on. The driver of the car did not react in any way to the demands of the patrol officers to stop, but on the contrary accelerated the movement. The police began a chase and led the offender from Mira Avenue towards Primorsky Boulevard. Other crews also joined the interception plan.
As a result of the chase, the patrolmen managed to stop the car on Pervaya Slobodka Street. There were three men in the car, who, as it turned out later, were National Guard officers. The patrol officers drew up reports on the driver of the car under Parts 2 and 4 of Art. 122 (failure of drivers to comply with requests to stop and leaving the scene of a traffic accident),” the message says.
The police noted that in the last two days this is the second time that patrol officers have identified offenses among defenders of the Fatherland. Last night, inspectors stopped a policeman with signs of alcohol intoxication.
“Given that the city of Mariupol is frontline. Running away from the police is very dangerous! In such cases, the patrolmen may open fire, because the fugitive could potentially pose a threat to state security,” the patrolmen addressed the ATO soldiers.
