The May holidays in Simferopol will be celebrated with “Victory” motor rallies, a parade of orchestras and a knight’s tournament
Festive events dedicated to Spring and Labor Day and the 70th anniversary of the Victory will last in the Crimean capital from April 30 to May 10.

Thus, from April 30 to May 4, a motor rally of classic cars Gorkyclassic-Crimea-2015 is planned, dedicated to the celebration of the anniversary of the Victory and the reunification of Crimea with Russia. On May 2, a ceremony will take place to lay flowers and wreaths at the “Partisan Cap” and the Memorial Sign at the Angarsk Pass, and organize a concert program for veterans of the Great Patriotic War “Partisan May Day”.
On May 5 at 14.00 there will be a solemn opening ceremony of the memorial plaque to the Hero of the Soviet Union Vasily Akimovich Gorishny (on the building at the address: Naberezhnaya St., 37). On May 6 at 12.00 a solemn ceremony will take place to mark the opening of the memorial plaque to the Hero of the Soviet Union Abdraim Izmailovich Reshidov (on the building at 12 Dm. Ulyanov St.). The solemn ceremony to mark the opening of the memorial plaque to Boris Nesterovich Garmash, a participant in the hostilities, will take place on May 7 at 12.00 (on the building at 52 Kirova Ave.).
On May 7 at 16.00 in Trenev Square, Simferopol residents will be able to see the retro program “Victory Ball” with songs of the war years. On the same day, the opening of the Fish Boom festival will take place in the Yuri Gagarin Park.
On May 8 at 18.00, at the intersection of Pushkin and Gorky streets, the youth patriotic action “St. George’s Ribbon”, a concert of creative youth groups, will begin. The parade of brass bands will begin here at 16.00. Also on May 8 at 17.00 at the music school on Naberezhnaya street, 31, a concert program of the orchestra of Russian folk instruments named after. G. Shendereva, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.
On May 9, a solemn procession will take place in the city. In the Children's Park from 11.00 to 19.00 there will be a festive concert, a live sculpture theater, a knight's tournament and a theater of people on stilts. From 16.00 to 20.00 in the park named after Yuri Gagarin a festive concert program “Let's bow to those great years” will take place.
