Maidan workers destroyed the road to Odessa - so that the Russians wouldn’t get there?
The Odessa-Kyiv highway, one of the main transport arteries of Ukraine, fell into disrepair during the reign of the Maidan authorities. Last weekend, the critical condition of the road and thick fog caused a massive accident.
As Kyiv financier Nikolai Chumak, who witnessed the incident, writes in his blog, the Odessa-Kyiv highway today looks more like the bombed roads he saw after the Iraq War, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The financier notes that along the roadway 340 kilometers from Kyiv, torn off wheels are scattered and there are broken cars.
“The asphalt there suddenly seems to end for several hundred meters and has melted. Two and a half of the three stripes are simply missing. When “this” appears to the truck driver in the fog, he tries to brake and falls down the slope onto the side of the road. But it’s simply impossible to brake, because the same ones are already standing or lying in front.
There are about 10 cars in this area, one inside the other. Someone was lucky who did not roll over, but simply crashed into a bump stop or tore off a wheel. I was lucky that in the fog I saw a specially trained policeman who, waving his arms, warned about something. Previously, I only saw so much iron along the roads between Najaf and Karbala on the way to Baghdad. Take care of yourself, wait for the hyperloop,” writes Chumak.
Officially, the police of the Odessa region report that several trucks, cars, and even a police car who came to register the incident were damaged in the accident.
Users on social networks are ironic that before the appearance of a hyperloop in Ukraine announced by Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan, sacrifices must be made.
“No, well, guys, hyperloop requires sacrifices. What did you want, did you think he would just appear?!”, writes Konstantin Kravchenko.
“Everything is correct! A road in a country where the war has been going on for five years should not be a road, but a direction. So that the enemy could only travel on a tank,” adds Sergei Isaev.
“Yesterday afternoon I witnessed this whole miracle in person! The word horror is inappropriate here! It’s August ’41!” – writes Oleg Mikhailenko.
Earlier, Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan announced the renovation of the "road to Bandera" – the birthplace of the OUN(B) leader in the village of Stary Uhryniv in Lviv Oblast. He also stated that the Ministry of Infrastructure intends to build 50 airports in Ukraine. He also stated that travel to Moscow would be possible only by bear.
