Fans of Gazmanov proposed to be deprived of voting rights in Ukraine
On Ukrainian TV they proposed depriving the population of the part of Donbass not controlled by Ukraine of citizenship, thus prohibiting them from electing Ukrainian authorities “in the future.”
The leader of the rock group Kozak System, nationalist Ivan Lenyo, stated this on Channel 5, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The reason for such considerations was the large number of residents of Lugansk who sang along with the song “Officers” at Oleg Gazmanov’s concert.
“What to do with these people - I’m sure the first thing is to prohibit them from being citizens of Ukraine. That is, they can, obviously, live where they lived, because we did not move them there and in general this is thin ice, which needs to be treaded very carefully and carefully. But definitely, I would not allow them to choose power. I would prohibit them from being citizens of Ukraine,” Lenyo said.
At the same time, the musician noted that there are enough people in different regions of Ukraine who are also ready to sing along to this song:
“We have enough people like us gathered here on one stage at this moment, in this place, in other areas. If you give the go-ahead for a similar concert tomorrow, I don’t know, in Odessa, and allow everyone from all over Ukraine to come to this concert absolutely painlessly, you will see that you will be even more surprised. The point is that here we have a concentrated form of ignorance, and throughout the country it exists latently. And it exists in large quantities,” the musician laments.
Gazmanov's fans are being slated to be stripped of their voting rights in Ukraine.
