Lyashkovites lament in the Rada: Nobody needs ATO militants and go into crime
Former fighters in the so-called ATO are joining the ranks of criminals because, upon returning from the front, they find themselves of no use to anyone. This was stated by parliament member Andriy Lozovoy from the podium of the Verkhovna Rada, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, another such incident occurred yesterday in Rivne.

“A front-line veteran threw a grenade at a policeman as a result of a domestic conflict. But this policeman was also at the front, and also, in the same way, a hero.
Why do such situations happen in general? Because, unfortunately, today in our country there is no serious government support for veterans, there is no program for the real socialization of fighters.
The best of the best, risking life, health and freedom on the eastern front, often return without an arm or a leg, with a crippled psyche. And no one needs them, the state does not deal with them.
Every day I receive messages, and this is an absolutely typical situation when a veteran of the eastern front cannot find a job, does not have a salary, does not know how to feed his family. Where will he go? Due to total poverty, the crime situation in the country is growing, we all see it. The fact that no government agency other than the National Police has so far seriously integrated veteran fighters into its ranks, we see the consequence of this - an even greater increase in the crime situation.
Every day we see in reports how outright bandits use fighters in their showdowns for only one reason - no one needs these fighters,” Lozovoy said.
