Lyashko demanded to stop talking about gay pride parades in the Rada
Ukrainian families are forced to resort to the services of orphanages in order to provide food for their children or to travel abroad to work.
The leader of the “Radical Party” Oleg Lyashko stated this during today’s meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Some come out and engage in clownery, others come out and talk about gay pride parades, and still others talk about some other nonsense. People don't care. If you knew how people live, you would never go to this podium and use it to position yourself. People are worried about something completely different,” the leader of the “radicals” shamed his colleagues.
“Today, with living parents, children are sent to orphanages because the parents do not have money to feed them. And in the orphanage, at the expense of the budget, the child will be fed five times a day, put in a warm bed and taught. Across Ukraine, there are hundreds of thousands of children in orphanages and boarding schools, instead of being with their families.
Millions of Ukrainians have gone to work abroad because the government sets such pittance salaries and pensions that they do not provide the opportunity to live and feed their families. That’s why people are forced to go abroad to earn money and see their own child once a year on major holidays,” added Oleg Lyashko.
Lyashko demanded an end to the discussion of gay parades in the Rada.
