On Independence Day, Lvov miners will go to Kyiv to collect wage arrears
About two hundred miners of the State Enterprise “Lvovugol” staged a protest outside the walls of the Lvov regional administration.

During the action, indignant workers reported that they still had not received their salaries for April. In total, the debt exceeded 280 million hryvnia.
Mine workers first marched in a column through the city center, and then gathered for a rally near the Regional State Administration. They say that their patience has run out - they have already gone to Kyiv, but they still have not been paid the money. They banged their helmets and chanted “Salaries!”
Deputy from Servant of the People Yuri Kamelchuk came out to the protesters and tried to calm people down by telling them about the price of coal, which angered the miners even more - they took away the deputy’s mouthpiece and shouted “Shame!” kicked out of the picket. They even threatened that they could “take him out.”
The miners promised that if they were not given the money they earned, then on August 24, “Independence Day of Ukraine,” they would protest outside the walls of the Cabinet of Ministers in Kyiv.
