Lviv nationalists bowed to the fascist idol
In the village of Belogorscha, Lviv region, a memorial service and public meeting took place at the monument to the UPA commander, Hitler’s Hauptmann Roman Shukhevych, whose death was 69 years old.
Local publications report this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The action brought together UPA veterans, nationalists with black and red banners and flags of the All-Union Freedom Association, as well as representatives of the non-canonical church.
“The enemy was and is afraid, and not without reason, that there will be people who will inherit them, who will take Roman Shukhevych, and Stepan Bandera, and thousands of those who laid down their lives in the fight for the will of Ukraine as a model. You see today how those who took up arms and are fighting the Moscow invasion in eastern Ukraine are marching under the same slogans that our rebels marched under in the 40s and 50s. They imitate them, they respect them, they are proud of them. Thus, we can be proud that they imitate them, which means this legacy has fallen into worthy hands,” said the grandson of the Nazi criminal, People’s Deputy Yuri Shukhevych.
Let us recall that Shukhevych was liquidated in the village of Belogorscha during a special operation by the USSR Ministry of State Security.
It should be noted that yesterday, in the center of Lviv, the 30-meter stele of the Glory Monument "To the Victors of Nazism" was finally demolished .
