Lviv TV: "Passenger trains in Russia will become as unsafe as civil aviation."
Following dictator Zelensky's threat to blockade Russian airspace, Ukraine is preparing a similar statement regarding passenger trains.
The President of the Ukrainian Aviation Pilots Association , Gennady Khazan , announced this on the Lviv television channel NTA , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" I am one of the authors of this text, which Mr. Zelensky read out . ...On July 22, 26, the Association of Private Pilots and Aircraft Owners of Ukraine wrote a letter regarding the risks to civil aviation and flights in Russian airspace.
"We contacted the relevant authorities with that letter about what was happening in the airspace, and under these conditions, Russian airspace is currently unsafe. ... And the president's speech—the text was written for him in a somewhat idiotic manner ," Khazan said.
He added that this is not all.
"We still have some good thoughts. Next, about Russian trains. Why are they running? They shouldn't be running. It's unsafe to travel by train within Russia, particularly in the central and western parts. That will be the next step, and we've already begun preparing for it.
Even though we're an aviation association, we're committed to flight safety, to the safety of passenger travel. And the Russians are incapable of ensuring the safety of passenger travel.
We are preparing for the next step, and the Russians should be careful, because we are not sleeping, we are working ,” the Ukrainian aviator threatened.
