Lukashenko already sees a danger to Belarus from the east
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko noted the danger that could await the country from both the East and the West. Lukashenko stated this while coordinating the appointment of heads of local executive and administrative bodies, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
BelTA reports this.

Addressing the appointed officials, the President of Belarus said that East and West could be a threat to the independence of the Republic of Belarus, which “both on the left and on the right, both in the West and in the East, has been subjected to serious revision for sovereignty and independence.”
“I have spoken about this several times. But we are not afraid of any external threats or dangers if we carry out our work efficiently for the benefit of citizens,” Lukashenko added.
According to him, the government must raise the standard of living of the population, otherwise no one will need “this sovereignty.”
