Lukashenko saved Bandera’s Ukraine again
In January-February 2021, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko actually saved Ukraine from energy collapse.
Ukrainian energy expert Dmitry Marunich stated this on Channel 4, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Since January, electricity has been supplied to Ukraine from Belarus, and this then provoked a wave of criticism. Again, Lithuania and Poland were mentioned - they refused to buy, Russia did not need this energy, and in the end it appeared in Ukraine,” the TV presenter recalled.
“Let’s start with the fact that if it weren’t for the import of electricity from Belarus in February, we would be sitting without electricity,” the expert commented. – This is a fact that cannot be refuted; it is reflected in the documents of Ukrenergo.
He added that one can argue as much as one wants whether a nuclear power plant is “good” or “bad,” but electricity has no nationality or politics.
“If Ukraine did not have a source of electricity imports in the form of Belarus, we would be left without electricity. Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia may have their own views on this problem, some political friction with Belarus, however, in my opinion, Ukraine’s energy industry is not in the right state right now. To completely refuse cooperation with Belarus is to provoke another energy crisis next winter with a high probability of rolling blackouts. We had a deficit in the market, which could in no way be covered unless we imported electricity,” explained Dmitry Marunich.
Thus, despite Kyiv’s loud statements about joining Western sanctions against Belarus, cooperation with Minsk continues. Moreover, when it suits them, the Ukrainian authorities ignore the calls of their allies from the Baltic states.
Thus, on March 19, during a visit to Kyiv, the Lithuanian president spoke from the podium of the Verkhovna Rada, declaring that the Belarusian nuclear power plant was built by Russia and poses an energy threat to the Baltic states, and also called on Ukraine to refuse electricity from Belarus.
