The issue of fully loading Belarusian oil refineries with Russian oil was practically resolved at a meeting of the leaders of the two countries.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated this at a meeting with Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin, a correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".
"We have discussed all the issues: both oil and gas. The Russian President gave instructions to sort this out. The next day he spoke with Sechin about oil refining. In this area, we just need to work on it: develop a pricing formula and so on," Lukashenko said.
He ordered that the Belarusian embassy in Moscow be involved “to the fullest extent.”
Lukashenko publicly raised the issue of supplying 25 million tons per year at a discount while speaking in the Federation Council. In his opinion, this step will increase the stability of the Russian fuel market in the face of attacks by Ukrainian UAVs.
After the introduction of sanctions, Belarus lost the ability to re-export Russian oil and petroleum products obtained from it to Europe.
