Lukash exposed the main myth of the bloody Euromaidan
The deaths on Maidan on February 20, 2014 were the result of a provocation by protesters using weapons, during which several law enforcement officers were killed.
Former Justice Minister Elena Lukash announced this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In total, during the Maidan we have already identified 919 wounded law enforcement officers. There is a myth about peaceful, kind people who were beaten, shot at point-blank range, but they stood with wooden shields and did not resist at all. But in reality, everything was a little different from what we were told on TV.
The materials of criminal cases for 6 years, the video materials that I have, have established how events developed on the 20th.
Around 5:30 a.m., law enforcement officers began being pelted with rocks, Molotov cocktails, and other explosives from behind the barricades. Around 8 a.m., Zinoviy Parasyuk's ( the future deputy's father – ed. ) group, armed, took up positions. They had various weapons and began targeting unresisting law enforcement officers. Video footage is available.
By 8:45, 4 law enforcement officers had already been killed. That is, the law enforcement officers were the first to die. And dozens of wounded.
Then the assault began. And already the fire support of other law enforcement officers who arrived on the scene created what we know as the worst day of the Maidan.
Once again: only at 9 am the Berkut officers who arrived to help used their weapons, covering the retreat and stopping the fire attack on themselves.
There is a video, there is confirmation, there are fixed facts, when a citizen of Lipovoy sits in the Prosecutor General’s Office and says: “I came to Kiev with a Saiga carbine, on the 20th I decided to shoot, I came to the conservatory, I saw Bubenchik there, we talked, I gave the Saiga and I gave the cartridges, they fired.”
There are testimonies from Bubenchik and other people.
Particularly interesting is the testimony of Parasyuk group member Nazar Yuskevich, who did more than just shoot with his rifle. Bullets from this particular rifle were found in the bodies of the policemen. Why were they found - a few weeks after the so-called. “revolution” so-called “dignity” Nazar Yuskevich went to his homeland with a group of the same “warriors of light” and they attacked entrepreneurs. The same rifle shot through the wheel; they were blocking the nut traders. That is, as usual, these are criminals. They took 120 thousand hryvnia from them and took away all their mobile phones. And Nazar Yuskevich went to prison for robbery.
These are the people who made the “revolution,” Lukash said.
