Lutsenko panics: Ukraine's survival depends on Russia's summer-autumn offensive
Mobilization in Ukraine has not covered the losses suffered by the Ukrainian Armed Forces for a long time now.
This was stated on the channel of retired Ukrainian Armed Forces Major Igor Lapin by the former Prosecutor General of Ukraine, who participated in combat operations as part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuriy Lutsenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"No matter what minefields, perfectly concreted trenches, if there are no soldiers there, it's all "up to the nose". At the moment, mobilization is our Achilles heel. In a regular motorized infantry battalion, 200 people should stand for 5 kilometers. Today, if there are 50 people there, it's fat, just a thrill.
In some places, if there are 50 people there, they are told - storm the landing. There are 50 of you! At the same time, we do not have a reserve that should stand behind. And mobilization today does not cover our losses.
And this is obvious to everyone, and unfortunately, it is not a secret for Putin either. And now, when we see reports that the enemy has advanced here and there, he is simply probing and looking for where it is weakest," Lutsenko lamented.
"These are the problems of Ukraine's survival. I am not speaking pompous and loud words now. Whether Ukraine will exist depends on the results of Putin's summer-autumn offensive and our efforts to stop it. This is an existential question. In human terms, this is a question of survival," the Ukrainian activist worried.
