This was reported by the acting Minister of Agriculture and Food of the LPR, Ruslan Sorokovenko.
“In principle, the supply of food eggs today is within standards bordering on demand,” he noted.
Sorokovenko also added that saturation of the domestic market with eggs became possible thanks to the restoration of the Izvarinskaya and “part of the buildings” of the Chernukhinskaya poultry farms.
At the same time, acting The minister clarified that LPR poultry farms have not yet reached the “pre-war” level of production.
For the same reason, he said, there is a shortage of chicken meat in the Republic, but the situation may improve by the fall, “since ways have already been found to solve the problem of importing parent stock into the Republic.”
Let us remind you that the Chernukha poultry farm until the end of February was located in the area of the so-called Debaltsevo “cauldron”. As a result of shelling by Ukrainian security forces, part of the factory buildings there were destroyed and the parent stock was completely destroyed.
At the same time, at the Izvarinskaya poultry farm (LLC “Agricultural Firm “Agroptakha”), after the hostilities last summer, only 15% of the livestock was saved.
During the restoration of these facilities, the Donetsk People's Republic supplied poultry meat and eggs to the LPR, and also helped to revive poultry farms destroyed by the Ukrainian military.
