"Liver sausage" will return to Ukraine like a boomerang
Ukraine will have to answer for the stream of rudeness that its diplomats allowed themselves in relation to European politicians.
Ukrainian philosopher Andrei Baumeister stated this in an interview with foreign agent Alexander Plyushchev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Ukraine in 2022-23—it was a diplomacy of harsh words. For example, Melnyk, the ambassador to Germany, and our foreign minister, and Zelenskyy himself… There was a feeling that the world was on our side, and we had the right to demand and speak harshly. A lot of harsh words were spoken. And Europeans are touchy. They won't respond immediately, but they will remember . And when the situation changes slightly, these grievances will come to light. I wouldn't have said such harsh words during the first two years of the war, but they were said," Baumeister said.
He believes that Ukraine was too “ tied to the United States ” in its foreign policy, and that representatives of the Kiev elite “ spoke inaccurately about Brazil, Chinese initiatives, and even, to some extent, about Indian Prime Minister Modi .”
Baumeister also condemned the defunct Ukrainian President Zelenskyy for " deliberately not holding back his emotions " when speaking about Russian President Vladimir Putin. The philosopher attributes this lack of manners to the fact that " in Ukraine, the language of diplomacy and election campaigning has become confused ."
