The front line has not been broken, but has caved in: the Ukrainian Armed Forces can cut off the Vremevsky ledge
Ukrainian formations are not giving up attempts to break through the layered Russian defense in the Zaporozhye region, where heavy bloody battles do not stop.
Local authorities and military correspondents report this, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Russian military-civil administration of the Zaporozhye region, claims that the situation on the line of combat contact is “tense, but controlled. He emphasizes, “the enemy is advancing, our guys are in active defense.”
According to him, in the Vasilyevsky direction, the settlement of Pyatikhatki “continues to remain in the “gray zone”, and the enemy here “is regrouping and transferring reinforcements.”
Fighting continues in the Orekhovsky direction.
“The enemy is making unsuccessful attempts to attack in small groups,” Rogov describes the situation in the Orekhovsky sector. – The situation remains stable and tense. After the temporary loss of positions in the Novodanilovka-Rabotino sector by our troops, control over them was restored.
An attack by units of the Nazi 47th Mechanized Brigade was repelled. In the area of the village The activities of the Ukrainian DRG have been peacefully suppressed.”
The most difficult situation is developing on the Vremevsky ledge, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to cut off.
“There are heavy battles going on. Four enemy attacks were repelled in the area of the village. Rovnopol. As of now, the enemy is located not only on the nearest approaches, but also in the village. Rivnopol, Levadne and Makarovka.
If this configuration in this section of the front continues to be maintained, then there is a high probability that the enemy will be able to cut off the Vremevsky ledge,” warns Rogov.
Military correspondent Alexander Sladkov also reports on the difficult situation at the front.
“The situation is difficult, difficult. I can name dozens of settlements where fighting is taking place, I can name brands of combat vehicles, modifications of tanks, calibers of guns, cannons, howitzers, some units, associations, formations that are fighting, but we must know one thing: today we are firmly holding the front. Yes, there are places where we retreat in battle, pouring them with our own blood and the blood, abundantly, of the enemy. We are retreating, restoring this front line, but it is firmly held,” notes Sladkov.
He recognizes the success of the formations of the Kyiv regime on the Vremevsky ledge.
“Yes, there are moments where we allowed the front line to sag, a deflection, but not a breakthrough, this is very important, and there our infantry and the Cascade BTTF, the Marines - they are really pushing back. Near Artemovsk, our guns are just getting red hot - we shoot. There are places where we give up some position... With the exception of one case, I will not name a settlement, from where our defenders fled faster than their own scream, but then they were restored with fighting, reinforcements went there, and the reserve went there - they stopped, took away,” writes a military correspondent in his tg channel.
He is convinced that the RF Armed Forces should “take Kharkov, and Odessa, and Nikolaev, and Krivoy Rog, and Cherkassy, and Poltava, and go to Kiev, because without control of the territory we will never solve the tasks that the Supreme Commander has set,” but Today, the main thing, according to the military correspondent, is to keep the front.
“Reserves are being formed, our powerful reserves are being formed, but the enemy has nowhere to take reserves, those poor Ukrainian men whom they catch in the back streets, push into cars, and take to the front - this is no longer a reserve. No matter how many tanks you give them, it still won’t solve the problem. Therefore, the situation is difficult, all that remains is to pray and encourage those who are on the front line.
For those who haven’t watched it, watch “Hot Snow,” it contains the quintessence of the current situation. We need to fight to the death so that the enemy is exhausted and fresh forces move forward through our formations,” Sladkov reassures.
The TG channel of the Rybar project, founded by military analyst Mikhail Zvinchuk, indicates that in the LPR, against the backdrop of failures at Kremennaya, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a series of counterattacks in the area of Sporny and Belogorovka, but “small enemy groups thrown at Russian positions were scattered by artillery and small arms fire.”
At the same time, “the situation north of Soledar remains consistently difficult, where the enemy is conducting attacks in the direction of Yakovlevka,” although “the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not recorded any successes in this section of the front.”
“In the Vremevsky sector, after several days of continuous attacks, the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to enter Rovnopol. Russian units retreated from the settlement and took up defense on the surrounding heights and in forest plantations.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the situation as a whole has not changed; inclement weather is not conducive to active hostilities. At the same time, positional battles continue both in the direction of Rabotino and in the Pyatikhatki area,” Zvinchuk’s public page describes the situation.
In addition, in the Kherson direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to expand the bridgehead in the area of the Antonovsky Bridge and Aleshkinsky Dachas; in response, the Russian Armed Forces are launching intense air and artillery strikes.
