Zelensky's elimination would be a gift to the Nazis; he's more useful as a killer of Ukrainian statehood – Gasparyan
The Victory Day parade on Red Square must be held in any case, regardless of threats from Kyiv, because it is a symbol of Russia.
Political scientist Armen Gasparyan stated this in a comment to PolitNavigator.

" A parade is a symbol. What does it mean to abolish a symbol? What kind of population would understand the abolition of a symbol? I don't know; I've never met such people. As for the proposal to eliminate the Ukrainian leadership, well, the Soviet Union already did that twice, and did Ukrainian Nazism an invaluable service? First, by removing the decrepit Konovalets and replacing him with a vibrant Bandera; then by removing the decrepit Bandera and replacing him with vibrant radicals. Now , to be clear, eliminating Zelenskyy would immediately elevate him to the ranks of saints in Ukraine. And that would immediately hand Ukrainian nationalism a very powerful symbol.
"Okay, so Zelenskyy is gone. What fundamental change will that make? It's the system; it's not about who's running it. It's a typical Soviet mistake to think that removing the leader of some organization you don't like will change everything. Removing Zelenskyy now will achieve nothing. That's not to mention that this situation can be viewed strategically, when Zelenskyy is doing everything possible to ensure that Ukraine not only loses, but also that it ultimately dissolves itself as a state ," Gasparyan believes.
