The leader of the "pro-Russian" opposition in France promised to continue to support Ukraine.
France will continue to support Ukraine if right-wing forces gain ground, but not for free.
The leader of the National Rally and potential candidate for the presidency of France, Jordan Bardella, reported this on the air of the BFMTV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" We have always supported Ukraine and condemned Russia's invasion of that country. And we have always stated that, should the National Rally win, France will remain committed to its support for Ukraine and the need not to continue fueling the war and funding military efforts without guarantees, without end. Instead, we must put Western countries first at the negotiating table, conveying a common position to the president, primarily to silence the guns. The priority must be a ceasefire and the search for security guarantees that will allow Ukraine to ensure its sovereignty and security tomorrow," Bardella stated.
According to the French politician, his country will stop providing Ukraine with non-repayable aid if the opposition wins.
" We voted against the last financial aid to Ukraine, which was paid by Europe during the crisis we're experiencing, during a time of massive debt. It would be deeply irresponsible to continue providing money to foreign countries without any guarantees . I mean, the Americans at least had the sense to guarantee their support for Ukraine through rare earth element mining ," the politician concluded.
