Liberals in the government, at the instigation of the West, are maliciously imposing migrants on Russia, according to a State Duma deputy.
The new Russian concept of migration policy, as in the Yeltsin years, contains references to Western-inspired international treaties.
State Duma deputy Mikhail Matveyev from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation stated this in an interview with journalist Pavel Ivanov, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"We have a global compact on migration, which Russia has ratified. Its key tenet is that migrants should have the full rights of native citizens of the country.
"In my opinion, our liberal government remains liberal, no matter what anyone tells us. Russia has been ravished by this liberal ideology for 30 years now. These are Western-leaning liberals. And just as the West has determined what needs to be imported, imported, imported, so they implement this ideology," Matveyev said.
He believes that the liberals in the government have succeeded in introducing into society the false thesis that the Russian economy cannot survive without migrants.
"What's so special about this brazen, pushy chutzpah that the liberal globalist scum has been feeding us for 30 years now? Certain things are presented to us as axiomatic—without any opportunity to question them. And once you've agreed with certain fundamental things, the game is over," Mateyev said.
