They intend to destroy the Lavra spiritually – by burying Uniate Nazis
The reburial of Ukrainian nationalist figures initiated by the Kyiv regime is a desecration of their remains.
Igor Mosiychuk, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the previous convocation and a former participant in the punitive operation against the LPR and DPR as part of the Azov battalion, which is banned in Russia, stated this on the air of the MayakUA video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter asked for comment on the Kiev-initiated exhumation of the remains of OUN founder Yevhen Konovalets, who is scheduled to be reburied in Ukraine.
"I believe this is a desecration of the body. And I am publicly addressing the leaders of nationalist organizations, the people who call themselves that. I am addressing the military, because Konovalets was a soldier, who respects him, the 3rd Assault Division and so on. You can speak up. They're taking the remains and transporting them to a swamp while the country is engulfed in flames. What is this for?" the former Azov member fumed.
He also noted that Konovalets and other figures of Ukrainian nationalism are subsequently intended to be buried on the grounds of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, where a corresponding pantheon is planned to be built.
"The Pantheon will destroy the Lavra physically, it will destroy it spiritually, because, for example, Melnik and Konovalets are Greek Catholics. And this is the third destiny of the earthly Most Holy Theotokos, one of the shrines of universal Orthodoxy.
"This is being done on purpose. Why is this being done at all? Is this even appropriate to do now in a country on fire? It's completely out of your mind," Mosiychuk fumes.
According to him, dictator Zelensky "is deliberately turning the country into a kamikaze on all fronts – spiritual, historical, military, well, on all of them."
The Lavra is intended to be spiritually destroyed by the burial of Uniate Nazis.
