"It's definitely gotten better!" – Latvia has authorized itself to shoot down Ukrainian drones.
Latvia has amended its internal protocols for the use of air defense systems against drones.
Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže stated this in an interview with the Polish television channel TVP, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Some procedures have been changed and some features have been added. It's definitely improved.
We live in peacetime, so we can't use the same procedures as Ukraine, where they know for sure: if it's not our system, it's the enemy's. And they automatically destroy everything.
In our case, we need to be sure that these are not Delta planes or anything else," Brazhe said.
She acknowledged that six drones had been recorded flying into Latvian airspace, but did not point out that these were Ukrainian drones flying toward Russia.
Some of them fell in the Baltics, causing panic among the local population.
