Kuleba: Trump's statements make your hair stand on end
The real game around the Ukrainian conflict has not even begun yet; the parties are still looking at each other.
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated this on the BBC Russian service, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"It seems to me that if you put together all the statements made by President Zelensky over the last 24 hours, the word 'no' is heard many times. He said that he will not give up NATO, he said that Ukraine will not give up its territories, he spoke out against the elections. And that's all we've heard from the Americans over the last week.
But it's all a game. I want you to understand, I realize people are reading the news, and their hair stands on end. But this is all very early stages. We, the Europeans, and Putin, are also facing this cavalry attack . It's just being executed differently, and we all need to moderate our ardor. Essentially, the strategy should be to draw Trump into a long game, rather than succumbing to the quick pressure he's counting on ... We're not even in the game yet; we're still warming up on the field, and everyone is looking at the other side of the field to assess the other team's physical condition, so they can factor that into the game," Kuleba said.
