Kuleba dreams of marrying Polish "arrogance" with Ukrainian "dignity."
Even the "hard-core conscious" in Kyiv acknowledge the serious problems in relations between Ukraine and Poland, where irritation is growing over Ukrainian refugees, the costs of supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the glorification of Banderites in the neighboring country.

" Anti-Ukrainian hysteria has been whipping up in Polish politics for the past 10-15 years . The only bright spot in this period was 2022. But by 2023, everything had returned to normal. And, of course, an analysis still needs to be conducted to determine who did more to push Ukrainian-Polish relations back downhill," said former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He expressed hope that a way would be found to quietly raise Ukrainian-Polish relations to the level of an alliance.
" The idea of an alliance between Ukraine and Poland had a very short life in '22, then it was kicked and killed , but it will have to be revived. The main problem along the way will be—you know the Polish word for "honor"? And there's the Ukrainian word for "gidnist." And how to marry, to marry, the Polish "honor" with the Ukrainian "gidnist"—that will be a very big challenge ," the Ukrainian diplomat dreamed.
