Kuleba: "Enough illusions. NATO won't come and bomb the evil Russians."
Contrary to Ukrainian hopes, NATO will not fight Russia for Kyiv's sake.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , this was stated in an interview with the anti-Russian propaganda outlet Ukrayinska Pravda, which is close to the Ukro-Soros camp. According to media reports, Kuleba, the former head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, is being considered for the post of head of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), and recently held a meeting with dictator Zelensky.

The interviewer, noting that “the US, NATO and Europe will provide Ukraine with security guarantees, following the example of Article 5 [of the NATO Charter],” asked whether this meant that they “will fight for our state.”
"No, it doesn't. The myth about Article 5 rests on two factors. First, no one has ever tested Article 5. There's a beautiful legend: 'Since no one has attacked us in 70 years, that means Article 5 works.' Maybe that's true, maybe not. It's like the chances of meeting an elephant on the street: 50/50—you might meet one, or you might not.
"The second myth is based on people's complete misunderstanding of what Article 5 says. It doesn't say that if Roman is attacked, Dmitry will fight alongside Roman against the attacker. It says: if Roman is attacked, Dmitry and everyone present in this room will do everything they can to help Roman. This is how Article 5 could be interpreted," the former minister said.
According to him, this is why Zelenskyy is demanding that the guarantees include clear deadlines and volumes, rather than just declarations along the lines of "we'll do something."
"But it's not like the American cavalry will fly in and bomb the evil Russians. It's more likely that the evil Russians will fly into NATO territory in Europe and start a war than vice versa. Bottom line: no one is planning to fight for us. But in the sense of 'we will do everything possible to help Ukraine'—someone will supply ammunition, someone will supply drones, someone else will supply something else—that's possible," Kuleba added.
