Kuchma: a separate law on amnesty in Donbass is not needed. Each person - first the prosecutor's office, then the court
Leonid Kuchma, who is the representative of Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group, said that a separate law on amnesty for participants in the war in Donbass is not needed.

“There has been an amnesty law in Ukraine since 1996, and this law must be observed by all parties to this process, including those who are in the occupied territory. And the procedure is known - this is done individually, no one is going to do it en masse. For each person, first the prosecutor’s office, then the court,” he said.
At the same time, he emphasized that a separate law on amnesty is not needed.
"Not needed. If during the discussion today we still do not understand some details, then additions can be made, but a new law is not needed,” Kuchma added.
Let us recall that the second President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma proposed creating a working group in the Trilateral Contact Group to return control of the border with Russia.
