Simferopol, March 01 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The leader of the Crimean Tatar Majlis, Refat Chubarov, called for organizing rallies in Russia against the invasion of Ukraine.

“There (remain) two parties that can still prevent a catastrophe:
– actually citizens of the Russian Federation, if they go to rallies against the war;

– the international community, if it finds adequate measures in the next few hours,” Chubarov believes.

At the same time, at the briefing, the head of the Mejlis said that his structure does not intend to organize protests in Crimea.

“The conflict has reached a level where a solution must be found by the international community and our state... We recommend that our citizens proceed from the fact that we live in a sovereign independent state of Ukraine and at the same time remain completely calm in the expectation that the conflict will be resolved in ways that will determined by our state and international organizations,” Chubarov said.
