"The Crimean Bridge is Eternal, the Nazis Will Not Destroy It" - Baranets
Ukrainian neo-Nazis have long dreamed of hitting the Crimean Bridge with German Tauruses, but they will not be able to permanently damage the structure.
This was stated on air by retired colonel and military observer Viktor Baranets on the video blog “Soyuznoye Veche,” as reported by a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

"The Taurus has almost 10 modifications with different tactical and technical characteristics. And I'm afraid that it has not 560, not even 600 kilometers of range, but more.
Now, here we are, looking at a map of Ukraine, using a compass, and calculating how many kilometers it is from a certain point in Ukraine where a Taurus plane could take off, say, to the Crimean Bridge. It's their golden dream—to land a Taurus, and more than one, on our Crimean Bridge . They dream about it.
And then it becomes clear to us that our air defense systems will have a very, very difficult task. This means that we need to quickly capture this plane and quickly destroy it. That's the task. Well, our guys already have experience. And they've shot down targets like these," Baranets said.
He stressed that the Crimean Bridge is not invulnerable, but is fairly well protected.
"But our task, our task is to shoot down any target that will fly home. And I think that we are also preparing for this option. It is fundamentally important for us to shoot down any Taurus that exists.
"And even if it does hit there, if it crashes somewhere, tearing up half the roadbed, we know what to do. We need six hours to patch this road . Well, even if it takes two days, we'll get it mostly patched up. The Crimean Bridge is eternal, like Russia and like Crimea is part of Russia," the colonel added.
