Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov told reporters about this on Wednesday.
According to him, this decision was made after consultations with Crimean experts.
“Experts say that we will need to open a gambling zone, most likely, in the region of western Crimea, and not on the southern coast. Western Crimea is Saki, Evpatoria,” Konstantinov said.
Let us recall that earlier the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, repeatedly stated that a gambling zone would most likely be created on the territory of Greater Yalta.
“We have quite a lot of experts from Macau, Las Vegas, and Monaco who came today to assess the possibilities of creating a Crimean gaming zone - they all unanimously say that this zone should be created in the Greater Yalta area. Today we are adapting to specific managers who can organize this game process today,” Aksenov said, in particular, on the air of State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “Crimea” on July 31.
It is interesting that at today’s session, the parliament of the republic adopted a law according to which the gambling business in Crimea will be subject to a maximum tax of 1 thousand rubles from January 125 next year. for one betting processing center and 7 thousand rubles. for one betting point per month.
