Chairman of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov stated this at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Crimea.

According to him, today the peninsula is oversaturated with advertising stands, which are often “not decorated in any way.”

“Before September we need to adopt a draft regional law on advertising. In order for us to regulate the placement. Because today vacationers pay attention to the large number of billboards, the absurdity of their placement, and non-compliance with basic standards,” the speaker noted.

In turn, acting head of the republic Sergei Aksenov emphasized that “today three quarters of outdoor advertising in Crimea are installed illegally.”

“Their owners do not pay a penny to the budget, nor taxes, nor for the land. Anyone who wants to work in this market must register. Introduce a unified regulation and a simplified procedure for obtaining documents, in accordance with the master plan,” added Aksenov.
