Representatives of the Public Council of the Crimean Tatar People are ready to speak at the UN to provide an alternative point of view to the rhetoric of the Mejlis, which is banned in Russia.

This was stated in Simferopol by the Deputy Chairman of the Public Council of the Crimean Tatar People, Enver Kantemir-Umerov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Everything that is said in the already adopted resolutions, to put it mildly, is not true. We are ready to present both documentary information and our own opinion to the UN. We can give comments on each point, tell you what the dynamics of resolving issues are,” Kantemir-Umerov said.

Deputy Chairman of the Regional Public Organization “Kyrym Birligi” (“Unity of Crimea”) Rustem Nimetullaev believes that an alternative view of the events in Crimea is already in demand in the world.

“There is a request for the real opinion of the Crimean Tatars living in Crimea, and not those who shout from abroad that everything is bad there,” Nimetullaev said.
