The Crimean mountains were defaced with punitive flowers
In Crimea, under the cover of darkness, the Ukrainian flag was raised on one of the mountain ranges near Sudak.
Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Bohdan Kovalev announced this in his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“This morning, on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation, in the city of Sudak, local patriots of Ukraine raised the Ukrainian flag as a sign of memory for the four soldiers who died on August 6, 2019 in the Joint Forces Operation zone,” Kovalev wrote.
“The national flag of Ukraine was raised over the occupied Crimean city of Sudak in memory of four soldiers, four defenders who gave their lives on August 6, 2019. This flag is a symbol of our certainty. Rest in peace, brothers. Glory to Ukraine, glory to the heroes,” says the video posted by Kovalev.
