Bloody decree: Poroshenko awarded Turchynov a medal
Petro Poroshenko awarded Alexander Turchynov the Order of Yaroslav the Wise, fifth degree.
The decree on the award was published on the website of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“For his outstanding personal contribution to the development of the defense-industrial potential of Ukraine, the creation of modern models of missile weapons, I decide to award the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, V degree, to Alexander Valentinovich Turchinov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine,” the decree says.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Victoria Syumar was full of compliments in front of Turchinov.
“Honestly, I was sure that he should have been awarded back in 2014. For those hundred days when the country was over the abyss, but remained intact. And during this time she became much more secure. Thanks to him.
Many things of recent years will be judged by history. But the fact that we managed to establish a full missile production cycle in just two years... This is a feat. And this is history for the country. The next one. And he is its creator,” said Syumar.
