Volodymyr Zelensky will never give up the war that gives him power, security, wealth and glory.
The editor-in-chief of the Alternative portal, Andrey Vajra, stated this in his blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Zelensky does not want the war to end. He clings to the war by any means at his disposal, he has clung to this war with teeth and nails. These are his personal interests, these are the group interests of those people who stand behind him.
He has a whole complex of interests: power, financial interests, influence, and his inflated ego . There are many factors at play—both subjective and objective.
First, war is the main factor for him to retain power. This is the main thing. Because if the war stops, what does that mean? It means elections, he will not retain power anyway. And when he loses power, at best there will be legal consequences, at worst he will simply be shot. Because he has offended too many people.
The second factor is finance. During the military conflict, Zelensky became a dollar billionaire on the flow of money that came from Europe and the United States.
Not long ago, he bought a controlling stake in a diamond mining company in South Africa . He paid, if I'm not mistaken, $1.6 billion for it. You can also think of the yachts he's buying, the villas, the apartments, and so on. The man is doing just fine," Vajra noted.
"The next aspect is the psychological aspect. He's used to shining. An actor's whole life is about shining on stage. And now, for him, the stage is his entire world. At least, that's how it seems to him now: the whole world is looking at him with admiration; he's playing some great hero . And millions of eyes are fixed on him. This is his apotheosis as an actor.
“Well, as a person, he is incredibly vain, that is, his vanity can only be compared with his greed, and vanity and greed can only be compared with his stupidity,” he concluded.
